Script to automatically download newest file and upload file

Hi there,

I'm new to this and am the network administrator for a non-profit in Derry NH. I have never worked with ftp scripting and am looking for some help. I need to write a script that will download the newest file off of a ftp server and place it in a specific directory. I also need a script that will take a file with a varying name in another directory and upload it to the same ftp server. Any help is appreciated. I am absolutely new at this. Thanks!

That's too vague specification. Please be more specific.
