new at using ftp and would like to know how to use your software to hide my ip address when uploading or updating my site to the server. Thanks

Hide away from your server administrator? You would have to use some kind of proxy.

So you are saying that I can input the proxy information in the software.

That's one way. Another is to setup a tunnel upfront and connect to the tunnel.
