So i've read this : https://winscp.net/eng/docs/faq_delete_synchronized_files

But i'm still a little confused on how to actually get it to work..

Basically i have files synced from a remote folder to local, thats all working fine, i can't quite figure out how to get winscp to delete the file on the remote server once its transferred to my local...

I think i need the " put "command but not sure how i can do that ?

You need get -delete command, as described in "Moving Files" section of the article you refer to.
