Ad-Hoc

I want t o set up an ad-hoc connection, to quickly/easily transfer files, however, from the documentation, I can't figure out how to do this!

All it says is "click login to start an ad-hoc connection"! Do I login with the other pcs host name, or what? Because, I can't just click connect-I have to enter a host name! Also, do I need a specific protocol? :|

Sure, if you want to connect, an absolute minimum you need to specify is the protocol and the host name.

It looks like you are trying to use WinSCP for a purpose it is not designed for. What do you want to do actually?
