php.ini changes not possible

I use the winscp first and now I want to configure the php.ini file but i cant make
chances because the php.ini is protected.
Which command i have to use?

For what? To unprotect the file? "Properties" function may help you.

Hi.
I cant edit the php.ini because i have to be "root".
I have to type "su" in putty.
Maye there is fielt in winscp to become root in this case
