i just want to transfer some iso images between my windows system and my linux server/router
but the maximum transfer speed is about 600kb/s
thats quite slow
so what can i do?

For others who hit this topic off Google: to speed up transfer, change the encryption algorithm used. Blowfish sped up transfers for me significantly.

If you're transferring on a LAN, turn encryption off completely.

How can encryption be turned off completely? I only see a way to set the order of which encryption to use...
