Download all files with specific extension

How do I download all file with a specific extension because when I put in
*.txt it gives me an error.

I am trying to transfer all files in a folder to a remote site. You indicate that you know how to do it.

Can you post the "put" part of your script? I have tried various versions, but can't figure it out.

I (finally) found a post that was helpful. I have upgraded from V3.7.1 to V3.7.4, where wildcards are valid.
