3.7.4 causes server process to go zombie

I have connectted to my ssh server using 3.7.4 winscp and exited. Upon exit the ssh-sftp process has gone zombie and the ssh process hogs the processor. If I switch off the sftp subsystem in open ssh bash goes zombie and ssh still hogs the processor.

Any ideas would be most helpful
