ctrl+tab in editor

Why it is not possible to change between editor/viewer windows using CTRL+TAB when editing remote file?
Also the F12 key shows all windows (panels) as grayed, so I can't switch to them...

That's limitation of FAR. It does not allow this for any plugin (try FTP or Registry browser).
