Authentication problems

You should better check your server's log. Or ask server administrator. SSH client for security reasons cannot know cause of you being denied. But generally it is wrong username or password.

I have a similar problem... When I log in with Putty it goes fine, but WinSCP won't authenticate me. I worked fine in the beginning, but yesterday WinSCP came up with a message that I didn't read before I answered yes (yes, I know, don't tell me!!), and since then I can't be authenticated by WinCSP.

Any advices?

Either post a log file or ask your server administrator to check server's log.
