how can i create a account?

my friend runs a server with scp.
now only the admin can connect to the server and copy files.
but we want to create a user account which limited rights.
how is this possible?

On what OS is the server running?

linux 7.3 suse

To create user for WinSCP, simply create normal user on the system. Refer to SuSe manual.

Try to find something about CHROOT.

I install WinSCP 2.2. The first time I run the program. I setup a session as a default one. Now the problem is whatever I run the program again. it always open and login to the server. But I can not find any place to add another session(another server). My god, is this program only used for one server connection??

BTW, the command "new session" only start another window connect to the same server without prompting any questions. Help!!
