Need webdav help

Can anyone post a generic example of a webdav connection setup? Using Windows Explorer on my Windows 7 desktop, I can successfully connect to a sharepoint 2013 site. However, I can't connect through WinSCP 5.7.5. I've tried both encrypted and unencrypted, and I've tried the following hostname configurations for the connection:
adminlivexxx.sharepoint.com (with the specific site set in the Advanced Option >Directory
adminlivexxx.sharepoint.com/sites/dept/project
http://adminlivexxx.sharepoint.com/sites/dept/project
https://adminlivexxx.sharepoint.com/sites/dept/project
\\adminlivexxx.sharepoint.com\DavWWWRoot\sites\dept\project

The successful drive mappings through Win Exp happened with the bottom 3 examples.

I'm hoping to use WinSCP for this from a 2008 R2 terminal server because I have IE blocked and we're already using WinSCP for SFTP transfers.

My log shows this:
[hdr] X-MSDAVEXT_Error: 917656; Access+denied.+Before+opening+files+in+this+location%2c+you+must+first+browse+to+the+web+site+and+select+the+option+to+login+automatically.

But I am already able to log in automatically if I use IE or Win Explorer.
