PROXY

Great idea will be include PROXY server (firewall) support into WINSCP. Requested are SOCKS5, HTTP and HTTPS proxy support.

WinSCP supports SOCKS5 and HTTP proxies. See "Proxy" tab on login dialog (you must turn on "advanced options" to see the tab).

what about https? it would be awesome if you could add this, its the only way i know how to transfer files through my school's firewall.

.. and i could connect from my work via the HTTPS proxy ..

The HTTPS proxy support been added to tracker.
