Is distance a problem?

I've been trying to upload data (3 - 4 gb) from a site in Mexico to a server in Massachusetts and have been unsuccessful. I've been receiving Error connection reset by peer: Abnormal exit messages. Do you have any ideas as to what the cause may be? Thanks. :twisted:

If the connection is dropped by the other side, you should better check the other side first :-) Even if the problem is on WinSCP side, they should at least know why they close the connection.
