Slash in Password?

Hi,
how can I open a ftp session if the password contains a Slash /.

open ftp://ftpusr:12/3456@abc.defg-hijk.com -passive=on

does not work.

Any idea?

You have to URL-encode it as %2F:

open ftp://ftpusr:12%2F3456@abc.defg-hijk.com -passive=on
