mutiple Background transfers

Hi,
i am a little confused about "mutiple Background transfers",
i have "Maximal number of transfers at the same time" set to 5
also "transfear on background by default" set

when i try to copy across a directory containing multiple files, they are only transfered one at a time.
i have notised that if i start a second independent copy it will run at the same time as the first.
but a single "copy prosess" will only transfer one file at a time.
should this not transfer mutiple files at the same time?

iv done some fiddling and still can not figger this one out.

No. It only supports parallel task (batch transfer).
