Could not retrieve file information on alot uploads
***UPDATE***
Attached Debug Log File, however doesn't have much more information I'm afraid
WinSCP Version: 5.9.6 Portable GUI
Source Server: Windows 2008 R2 X64
Destination Server: Linux FTP/Web Server
Errors:
"Could not retrieve file information"
and
"The system cannot find the path specified"
Description:
I'm trying to upload a large amount of local data to the resources folder on an FTP server (99% PDF's).
The resources folder is empty to start with so the application doesn't have to worry about analyzing what's already there, comparing, overwriting etc....
Anyway I saw a fair number of the errors shown above so I hit Skip all to get as much as I can up there for now.
In the case of: "The system cannot find the path specified"
I pasted the exact path from the log for two entries with this error into windows explorer and the file opened no problem.
I also tried manually verifying the path for one of the files and copied it with another FTP program and it worked fine.
However I want to use WinSCP since I am developing a PowerShell script to automate this and transfer any updates daily.
As far as: "Could not retrieve file information"
I don't have a clue...
I know the path's are pretty long
Standard, Debug_1 and Debug_2 Logs attached but here are two examples.
Examples:
Example of "Could not retrieve file information":
Example of "The system cannot find the path specified":
Thanks,
Kenny
FYI
For the hell of it I just downloaded the 5.10.2 beta and try to transfer New and Updated Files only, got the same errors as 5.9.6
