WinSCP freezing
Hello,
Recently, I have been having problems downloading data as well as uploading data to WinSCP. (Version 5.5.0 (Build 3839))
Here the insert from the log for the problems with downloading data:
. 2017-07-15 04:30:00.390 Looking up host X
. 2017-07-15 04:30:00.390 Connecting to X port Y
. 2017-07-15 04:30:21.422 Failed to connect to X: Network error: Connection timed out
. 2017-07-15 04:30:21.422 Knocking FTP port.
. 2017-07-15 04:30:23.422 FTP port did not open.
The problem appears to be that after receiving this error, the instance is kept running in the background. Is there a reason for this?
Is there a setting available so that in the event of such failure, the connection will retry? i.e. can we set the retry count to say 5?
Many Thanks
H
