Background file upload - many times it just closes and stop upload

In all WinSCP version when you try to upload, and open dropdown, and choose Proceed in Background it stopped upload, and closes dialog.
Files are not uploaded and you need to re-upload again in normal mode. This makes me crazy because I dont know what folders were uploaded yet or not.
please fix it.
