Takes too long to connect after waking up pc from sleep

Use this app everyday and love it.

I have set my computer to go to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.
When I turn on from sleep it gives me prompt about disconnected and countdown of auto reconnect and it takes ~40 seconds to reconnect but the internet is wired and no issues with my browser.

All i see is Connecting to .. and it freezes.

Currently using 5.11.2

Re: Takes too long to connect after waking up pc from sleep

Does the connection succeed in the end? Or does it timeout and connects only on the next reconnect attempt?

If the first, what if you open another instance of WinSCP during those ~40 seconds and try to connect? Does it connect immediately or does it also take long?

Yes, it does connect successfully after the timeouts.
It may be connecting too early before the network is established after waking up.

but after that clicking on "New Session" or "Options > Preferences" will send the dialogue boxes (focused) behind the main window.
Its impossible know what is going on if you have winscp maximised and nothing is clickable in main window as it is focused on the background box, the only way to get out it press enter/esc blindly to close the box.
Re-opening winscp it will make everything normal.

Screenshots attached.

Thank you.

Only these two? Or all dialog boxes?
Do I understand right, this happens only after WinSCP reconnects after the PC resumed from sleep? And it never recovers, so you have to close WinSCP. Correct?

I believe you did not answer this:
