control file comes across but production file is missing

I have a similar issue to some posted here-- but regrettably i cannot produce a log rn because the log feature was not on when this issue occurred (twice) in the past day.

I'm receiving a control file and a live file and loggin in with WinSCP remote server (.txt and .csv, respectively are the control and live file types). The control file comes across just fine. The .csv is somehow not showing up. I've toggled the hidden files feature, I've looked into as much as I can in my own troubleshooting --> any thoughts on why a control file would produce in the remote server but somehow the live file isn't making it?

Sorry, but we cannot answer that without a log file.
