WINSCP -- Network Error: Software caused connection abort

After downloading the latest version of WinSCP, I am getting the "Network error: Software caused connection abort". I have Kaspersky Total Security software and have added WinSCP as an exception but the error remains. Please advise how to fix.

What protocol are you using? Can you connect with any other client using the same tool?

using SFTP. using Filezilla Client and it didn't work either.

OK, then your problem is not related to WinSCP.
Contact your server or network administrator. Or ask at a site like https://superuser.com/
