How to know the "Verify Checksum" extension works

Hi Guys,

I have installed the latest WinSCP and i can also see the Verify Checksum extension is already inside (checked via Preference > Commands settings)

I have also applied the Verify Checksum logs to point to the Sessions Logs.

I am still having trouble to understand how this works. Can anyone help me on this?

The extension compares a checksum of selected local and remote files, on an explicit request.
It does not implicitly verify checksums of transferred files.
