Automate a download but getting stuck if file got deleted during the process

I automated a download using winscp and it was working for 2 years until the software that puts the files there was upgraded and now it deletes files if its job was not successful. I get a Received error message from remote side: 'scp: /path: no such file or directory'
(O)K or (A)bort:
In the command line its not an issue because I can click O and continue, but in the script it just exits.
How to I tell it to OK everything? The basics of the script is below.

get -preservetime -neweronly /path/* destination\
exit
