Old host giving a bad response to PWD

I have a old FTP server (220 HP ARPA FTP Server [A0009C04] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 1990) that is returning a bad response to the PWD issued on startup. There is little change of change the host software. Is there anyway to get WinSCP to ignore the error?

Here is what I get when doing a Windows ftp PWD.
ftp> pwd
257-"/TEST/SCAN" is the current directory.
257 "MGR.TEST,SCAN" is the current session.
ftp>

Thanks in advance,
Ken
