Sleep when using 'keep remote Dirctory up to date' re sleeps PC!

If one selects the drop down to put computer to sleep once this feature has completed, WinSCP indeed does sleep the PC. However, once one wakes the PC, a selection says about disconnecting. nothing wrong there. But once selecting this,
THE PC IMMEDATLY GOES BACK TO SLEEP! instead of just exiting.
This is a annoying bad fault. Can it be fixed please.
