Can I define char $ as hidden file?

WinSCP Version 5.13.5 (Build 8967)
WinSCP use the point . to mark the hidden files, working fine

No it's not configurable. The dot is a standard way to mark files as hidden on *nix systems, it's not an arbitrary choice of WinSCP.
