Any way of not forcing an auto connection to a site on program start up?

In the past all the FTP clients on Windows that I have used simply opened the app when you ran them via a shortcut. WinSCP is the first such client that forces you to select a connection to a site on the app start up. Is there any way of simply having the application start up without have to connect to a site?

What would you do with WinSCP without an opened connection?

Perhaps try to import the 20 entries I have in my old SSH client without having to re-enter all the configuration information back into. If that miracle ever occurred then I would back that up into a non proprietary format.

I would like to also simply look through the features of an application without having to maintain a connection to an external site to do so.

The function to import a configuration is actually on the Login dialog only!

Most of the functions are disabled without an opened session.
