PROBLEM #1:
When using the Termial Console to chown a number of folder/files in a domain directory (chown -Rf domain.domain .), its also change the upper directory as well too? In my case cause the main /public_html/ folder which using apache as the group name to no longer allow site viewing by the public!

PROBLEM #2:
When manally tranfering files from local to remote (drag/drop), upon comletion the remote isn't re-freshing itself? One is needing to do so manally.

This is not about WinSCP. However I think that the dot in your commands makes the trouble. Use asterisk instead.

Please give me more details. Where do you drag the files from? Where do you drop them? Do you use background transfer? Do you use drag&drop shell extension. What version of WinSCP, etc.

I tried both double clicking and dragging files from within your WinSCP local window to remote server's directory. Both background transfer and drag & drop shell extension is enabled. Version is 3.8.0 (Build 312).

Do you have the directory cache enabled? Without it the remote panel won't refresh when background transfer finishes.
