Editor - Timestamp

When in the editor I'd like to have a shortcut (e.g. Ctrl-T) to insert a timestamp.
Date (yyyymmdd) followed by a space followed by time (hhmmss).

May be configurable (e.g. add some text together with "date time" or select which character to insert between date and time) but not neccessarily.
