Access denied deleting remote files

I'm using winscp 5.15 and I can't delete remote files on a on Win10 FTP server from the GUI which I believe is possible. On the server, the user is an admin, the files aren't read only, and this user has full control in security settings. In IIS the user has read/write permissions. I've looked at using WinSCP's adv option to delete to a recycle bin but as I understand that only works with SFTP.
Any tips?

Can you delete the files using any other FTP client?

I meant to respond yesterday that I solved it. In windows advanced security of the folder properties, I reapplied full control to the same user then it let me delete files from WinSCP GUI.
