Error when I try to register the netstandar2.0 assembly

When I try to register the nestandard2.0 assemby I got the error that is not a valid .NET assembly.

OK, I have little experience with this. Do you know if it is even possible to register .NET standard assembly for COM? Does registering of .NET framework assembly work?
