Cannot connect at the office i.e. over the work netwok
Hi there,
I managed to connect to an SFTP server at home but when I am connected to the work network in the office it does not work.
I get the following message: "Network error: software caused connection abort.". I have tried to find an answer myself but have not been able to fix the problem.
I added WinSCP to the list of apps allowed through the firewall and also tried turning off the firewall but that makes no difference (just to see if that was a cause; not as a solution). The only thing I can do is disconnect from the work network and then tether my laptop to my phone. But that means I cannot connect to the network where the file is I need to transfer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
