Donation without creating PayPal account?

Hi,

When I donated something to the author of FireFTP (Firefox Extension) I got the possibility to pay via credit card to the paypal account, without creating an own account. I have no motivation to create one by myself, I just want to donate something for an extremely useful and cool program.

Any idea where is the difference? Or did I miss something on the PayPal page?

I do not think it is possible. I even do not see the option for FileFTP. Are you sure?
