Shell Icon button missing?

I'm using WinSCP V3.8.0 (build 312) and cannot find the Shell Icon or Tools buttons on the Login dialog box. I'd like to create a shortcut icon on my desktop for a stored session and the help files talk about these buttons.

Am I doing something wrong? Apologies if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find anything relevant.

Note these are present on the startup dialog only, and not when you use "new session" function.
