Long pauses between files during copy process...

Hi Guys,

i am running SSH Server on Android Device. The problem is that when folder contains a lot of files (8,5K in my case, usually not bigger than 500KB) then there are long pauses between each file being copied. I think it may be actually refreshing folder content after file copied. Could that be the reason?

I am using SFTP protocol.

I am using winscp.com command line script but winscp.exe GUI is the same.

Is there anything I can do on WinSCP side to speedup the copy process in my case?

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, use /log=C:\path\to\winscp.log command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Thank you for your reply. I am attaching the log.

In this session I was uploading 6 files, total 2.4MB in size. Operation tool 3 minutes and 5 seconds. Files which were uploaded:

8956.jpg
8957.jpg
8958.jpg
8959.jpg
8960.jpg
8961.jpg

If there is anything on WinSCP side I can do to speed up the process where there are a lot of files in directory please let me know.
