Cannot change file on Linux server

Hello everybody,
My question is how to get permission to change files on Ubuntu server using WinSCP. Problem is with changing old file which has the folowing permissions(see the screenschot unfrortunately it is in German). I suspect that problems are with rights I have for it. As far as I understand I schould have for the Group wrights also 'W' rights. But it is not possible. Each time I try rewite file I get the following error:
Permission denied
Error Code: 3
Error message from server: Permission denied
Request Code: 3

Description: File I want to rewrite

Sorry, I do not understand. What is "not possible"? What does it mean "Each time I try rew[r]ite file"?
