WinSCP is able to login but passes wrong/no password to PuTTY
As the title says it clearly:
* I added a new server (in fact I have 50 servers, all SFTP, everyone login is working as espected - even with PuTTY login)
* Set password and told WSCP to remember it.
** The start password was 'password'.
* CTRL+P -> PuTTY starts and the shell is visible (login is working)
* Now I set a new password - close the connection, login again with WSCP.
* WSCP shows "Wrong password" - I type in the new one and enabled the "Update my stored password"-Box (Text in german, might not the 1:1 version in english).
* WSCP knows now the new password - login is working.
* CTRL+P: PuTTY starts: "Access denied"
So - whats is wrong here? I did that 1000 times, this is working everytime! Except for this one.
Some facts:
* WSCP 5.17.7
* PuTTY 0.74 x64
* The password for that server contains § % " and { as special chars.
A log is attached.
