Option to Allow Aborting of Remote Directory Reading/Loading

Hi all,

When dealing with computing clusters and/or folders with several thousands of files, it is common to accidentally enter the directories filled with files/folders, and would lead to a long time of WinSCP freezing, waiting to load all the files, folders and symbolic linkers. Could we have a feature such that users can opt to halt the process, abort directory reading and return to the previous directory?

Force quitting the program is definitely an option, but for states that require users to hang for such a long time, it should have a better solution.

Best,

With major protocols, like SFTP, you can press Esc key to cancel the listing.
