WinSCP "Not Responding" every time

Hi
I'm trying to use WinSCP Version 5.17.7 (Build 10640). I'm able to login into my server fine but as soon as I try to click anything else once logged in, it goes to "Not Responding" and I can't use it at all and have to kill the program. This has been happening since I first installed it approx. 4 months ago.

I have a similar problem with winscp. The software freezes for a minute or so after every major action or file transfer. I reinstalled it several times and tried different transfer settings but nothing really helped. Intrestingly, I'm only having this issue on one of our several identical PCs.
