Minimum timeout: 5 seconds => 1 second

Hello! 5 seconds for timeout is too big. I have several local virtual machines, and when some vm is turned off, and i opened it in WinSCP by mistake, i have to wait too long before i can cancel request.
Also, sometimes timeout is not working, and at 5 seconds a have to wait much longer.

What "request" do you mean?

I mean this:

You can cancel that anytime by pressing the X button.

if it worked :)
Close button hangs up all the process, and does not stop try to connect, does not close window. After click, I still have to wait..

What version of WinSCP are you using?

Version is 5.19. But this problem is with all versions, for a long time.
But at the same time this problem does not occur in all cases. On some servers there are no problems.

What protocol are you using with servers that fail to abort the connection attempt?

I use SFTP and FTP.
