Error when using quick send from server

You send the file through "quick share." on the client then no longer goes into the download folder, and the home directory becomes the root.
Also the ftp server startup widget stops working after a while.

I'm sorry, but I do not follow. What "quick share"?
Can you post more screenshots and maybe a session log, documenting what exactly are you doing and how it fails?
