Setting up WinSCP

Using the setup, access is always denied. I followed instructions choosing FTP, then the website name, the user name and the password. They are all correct. Everytime, it is access denied. Previously I used Ipswitch and have forgotten the password and find no support for a remedy.
Suggestions on someone who can walk me through this. The host is GoDaddy.

So do you know the password or not?
Can you authenticate using the same credentials with Ipswitch?
Why do you think this is WinSCP problem?
Did you try to contact GoDaddy support?
