Re: Does Java console application require internet connectivity to connect WinSCP using SFTP?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply

WinSCP is working with proxy server configuration but Java console application which is using SFTP by usage of WinSCP is not working. Internet connectivity is only for WinSCP and not for the server.
Is it necessary to have internet connectivity on the server for Java console application for the usage of SFTP with WinSCP.

Thanks and Regards,
Suparna

Your question is rather unclear. But I do not think that an application that runs WinSCP needs to have any special connectivity privileges, if that's what you ask.

If you have problems, please post session log files both for WinSCP session executed from your Java application and for the very same session that runs in the very same environment (the same local machine, the same local Windows session), but directly, not via the Java application.

Thanks for the reply.
Client has given WinSCP using proxy server settings. They have told us to use proxy server settings for Java console application.
We are struggling with the Java code for console application in which proxy server settings has to be used for SFTP connection.

Thanks and Regards,
