Mobile connection help
Hi all, for months now I have been experiencing difficulties connecting, either via FTP or SFTP, I get an error message; "Unable to connect to xxxxxxx, timed out"
I am told it is related to the fact that I am using a modem on the mobile telephone system (ISP is Telstra Australia) and that my IP address is constantly changing....my ISP has advised that static IP address are only available to business customers.
I admit I do not fully understand how things work here and in desperation I am posting this message...has anyone else come across this issue, and, is the a work-around?
