Lately my / our scripts that connect to certain vendors time out on a somewhat regular basis.
We've been using winscp.com calls using automation with high success for some time, staying on a version of WinSCP from several years ago that works well for us.
The two vendors that we seem to get frequent time-outs on of late, both seem to use AWS to host their SFTP servers.
I've captured the WinSCP return codes on our Windows servers, and it's always a network timeout, and WinSCP return code 256.
I have turned on highest debugging level in the logs, but hoping you can perhaps offer some suggestions to help determine the casue of these connection timeouts.
