Unauthorized client limit reached

I use WinSCP to upload files to a media server on my router. Occasionally I get the error message:

Connection failed
Disconnected from server
Connection failed
Unauthorized client limit reached. Try again later

The next time I start Windows 10 the app works just fine

The error comes from the server. The servers seems to have some connection limit in place. Please talk to the server administrator.
