New session – no focus in directory panel

After upgrading to the latest version a few days ago, when you initiate a new session there is no longer focus in the directory panel?

Before you could straight after connection use the arrow keys to select a file or directory to enter/open.

Now you have to click with the mouse in the directory panel before you can use arrow keys.

and I just want to add that I use "Explorer" mode
