Using WinSCP 6.3.4 with GUI on Windows Server 2019 versión 1809 (OS Build 17763.5696)
The protocol to connect with is SFTP and NO specific interface style (the normal one from scratch).

When Running WinSCP, New Tab --> File protocol: SFTP, Entered Host name, port 22, entered User name and hit "login" button appears the following MSG.

MSG:

(00072B31) ntdll.dll.KiUserExceptionDispatcher
Authentication log (see session log for details):
Using username "dummyexampleusername".

Authentication failed.
If I use PuTTY instead, everything is OK.

Re: Can't connect to server. Error: Invalid access to memory

Thanks for your report.

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include a link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile.
