Transfer failed with % escape characters in filename

Hi,
I'm using WinSCP 6.3.5 (14991) on Windows 7 to copy files from local Windows 7 NTFS to a Debian12 machine with Btrfs, using SCP mode.
Some files cannot be copied correctly, for example crystal-HC49%2fS.kicad_mod.
Looks like the %2f will be seen as / char and WinSCP fails saying

scp: error: unexpected filename: crystal-HC49/S.kicad_mod

I also have similar problems with a file Whatever%20%20prec.jpg.
Any suggestions how to solve these problems?

I was searching a bit for this problem and found the solution here:
Some (not all) files with a percent character in the file name cause WinSCP script and GUI to abort

So I added the following parameter to the WinSCP GUI link and it works fine for me.
